▀▄ eas | KROQ's "Lightning" gets some work done on his X5

Last week "Lightning" from KROQ brought his 2001 X5 project to our shop for some work.

He towed his X5 to us because most of it is already disassembled for a paint job. His all aluminum trailer was pretty sweet though:


Even the towing van had some matte black wheels and low profile tires installed


Here's what the X5 looked like when it rolled into our garage.


The first thing we did was install set of DEPO HID headlights with some LED angel eyes.














Next on the list was the interior.


Lightning wanted a sportier sporty steering wheel so we installed a wheel from an e39 M5.
