Strange tire problem...

I had my winter rims/tires put on about three weeks ago.. Then the car sat for about two weeks. I started driving it again about two days ago and I notice the tires feel weird.. On the highway the car kind of feels like it's floating. When I turn right, it feels like I have to turn the wheel a lot more to make the turn.. Also, today I had to make a 90-mile roundtrip drive all on the highway. When I arrived after driving ~45 miles, I could have sworn I had a flat tire.. The car felt sooooo strange.. Sitting at a stoplight, it took a lot of effort to turn the wheel. I'm pretty sure the tires are mounted wrong. However, is there anything else it could be? I'm going to have the dealer look at it next week when I have my M Wheel installed , but I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions. Could it be that I'm just used to driving on performance tires, and the snow tires are normal?

TIA,
CJ

Try another gauge, it sound like the tires do not have the right pressure. Your gauge could be defective .. my 2 cents

what was the tire pressure? do you feel any vibration coming thru the steering wheel? could possibly because the tire flat spotted but sounds more like your tire pressure is off.. did you take the reading after the tires cooled down?

I don't remember the pressure.. There was no vibration, the steering just felt loose. I'm convinced that the pressure gauge was broken, so I'm going to pick up a different pressure gauge and check it tonight.

WOw. What you;re describing sound EXACTLY like what I felt in my old e36. It felt like it was a little "too" easy to turn, and the turning felt too "lite" if that makes sense...Unfortunately, at the time, I was selling the thing, but the new owner said he took it in and it needed something with the steering (fluid?).
