Indy in No. VA area

Just moved from Kansas City to No. Virginia. Looking for a good indy. I need brakes. My husband wants to do them, but he has no time. The brake light was on for about 6 months....maybe longer. All was ok and we were waiting to get them fixed....needed the cash. Now I have stopped driving it because they're grinding and I fear for my safety. I know I was an idiot to let them get this bad. Any help in finding someone to do the brakes here in the Alexandria area is greatly appreciated

Alexandria VA Service shop suggestions - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum

There are a number of recommendations there. No affilition or experience with any of them though.

I live in Arlington and have friends drive me to EDA motors which is in Great Falls, McLean area. Max, I believe is the owner and has always been really straight forward with me. When presented once out of my many visits with a big repair estimate, I pulled it out of the shop as it wasn't essential and he didn't give me the sales job or act upset at all as other dealerships and indy's have in the past.

Good luck in your search..

Hi, I've taken my M3 to Foreign Car Service in Old Town (N) and will be taking my newly purchased used '06 X there as well.

* Auto Body Repair And Painting - Alexandria, VA - Foreign Car Service

They use BMW parts and are much cheaper than the dealerships.

There's also Alexandria Bavarian Service in Old Town but I don't have any experience with them.

Good luck.
