Moon roof and battery related...

Hi guys!
After moths of "hunting" I've finally spotted the Gremlin that was/is draining my battery...well,how do you know may you ask..I have a technique that shows if my battery is fully charged, when I start my X I don't see any warning lights(Brakes,ABS,TC etc.) lighting up = battery is fully charged, since I charge with a charger once a month or so...
and recently it is nicer outside and I started to use the moon roof to catch some fresh breath ,so before I started to open it fully I never saw my battery get fully charged once it stars to light up the warnings lights.
Now if I drive with the moon roof fully open I get no warning lights while cranking...
I am really interested to hear Weasel and Killcrap's opinions.
What do I do now..how do I check ..maybe there's a short circuit or something like that..

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Sounds like it is just a coincidence, and using the warning lights as a guide is not an accurate guide of battery level at all... You likely still need real electrical diagnosis with the proper equipment to nail down the problem.

I know,I know..but it's the way it is..I've own my X for a year and a half and that "gauge" always "said" when to get the battery charged.
I think I am gonna check if there's a moon roof fuse or so and gonna pull it for a month or so and see what is gonna happen and if I will need to charge the battery at all.
Weasel ,Thank you for your input.
