Rust on window trim - HELP
This is a follow-up to this thread:
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...aahhhhhhh.html JCL was right (again) that the dealership said it's not covered by warranty. Not perforation of a body panel but surface rust. SO... is there a way to TAKE OFF these trim pieces so I can refinish them OFF the car? Just got a ff-up message from the dealership.... it will cost me $480 (before tax) for them to do the repair!!! Sorry about being right....but as you said in the other thread, it didn't cost to ask the dealer.
I would just take it to a bodyshop that does work on BMWs.
