Lakeshore Wheel & Tire (Holland, MI)?

Anyone done business with Lakeshore Wheel and Tire? Found them on ebay with OER Rims (reproduction or #87). Looking to put together a matching set of winter wheels and tires for a 2003 BMW X5 /// 4.6i.

http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com...18-tires.shtml

Still on the fence between smaller 18"x8.5 wheels or matching 20"x9.5/10.5. Looking at Dunlop and Pirelli winter tires. 20" winter tire choices seem to be very limited.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
Kevin

Yes they have a good rep. I bought a set of 87s in 18 inch winter wheels a few weeks ago. A couple of members here have also bought wheels from them. Customer service and packaging was good.

I was thinking of getting a set of OEM 132s from them... or possibly the OER 19" 87s or OEM 20" 87s... Decisions, decisions!
I've heard that their rep is pretty good, and their prices seem pretty competitive.

I bought mine from them. They sent me three wheels first than the last wheel was a day late. All and all I had no problems. I guess they got seperated somehow..,

my concern is the build quality of the OER vs OEM

That's been my concern too. (along with a potential weight penalty) The Lakeshore rep that I spoke with said most of the replicas are supposed to be similar quality to OEM - often times made by another comparible manufacturer to the same specs... not sure if it's true, though.

I can vouch for Lakeshore. I bought 3 sets of wheels there, both BMW and Mercedes. Someone just swapped their Mercedes E500 wheels for aftermarket 19's, and I bought the OEM's off Lakeshore. I also bought a set of staggered M Parallels from them for the 540i. Ask for Jon and tell him Arvi referred you! They have quick shipping and good packaging. Also one of the few places that gives you 30 days to try out your wheels. Good warranty on wheel finish as well...
