Wheel Repair recos..?
Greetings..
For those of you not enjoying "pothole fever" in the Garden State, I will tell you that never in my life have I seen so many holes in the roads. Unfortunately, my lovely wife seems to have a "heat-seeking" capacity for finding them in her E46 convertible, to the extent that I have replaced THREE tires, and 2 M3 wheels in the last 4 months. The good news is that I only paid $20 for shipping replacement tires, as I was smart/lucky enough to buy the road hazard warranty from Discount Tires Direct (they are REALLY great about doing it too..I'd have been asking for proof after the first 1). I always have an eye out for 18" OEM M3 wheels on eBay, Craigslist, and the E46Fanatics board where I also hang out. My needs are unique since I can only use the fronts all around, as the staggered rears will rub. So I am down to one spare M3 wheel and it needs some serious work to get it up to match the others. I have reached out to Al's hubcaps in Mineola for any LongIslanders, but he's about a 50 mile ride each way. I am wondering if any of my fellow NJerseyans (or vicinities) have recommendations..EXCEPT US Wheels in Fairfield NJ who stink IMHO. Thanks ed Looking forward to seeing many of you in about a month in CT ! If you are planning to ask your gf to marry you, it is THE place to do it..
