So this is causing the "Self_Level Susp Inactive"... (Beware Of Detail Shops!)
After about 2 weeks of that decision I then started to notice that the rear of my X was actually lowering, but the strange part was that both sides were the same height yet they were both low. I took it to my indy to do a "Bag" check, after that we noticed that both bags were fine and were not losing any air. So he decided to look after the module part of the issue, here is what was found:  Somehow thanks to the interior detail that I got about a month ago, some water got into the rear of that area, don't ask how because I still cant figure it out.... Thanks to the water that was entered it is obvious that it messed up the module. So my Indy decided to add a new module and as he was adding it he notice that the wiring in the rear for me was somehow very odd and it was played around with, according to him. So he said that there was an odd blue cable that is going all the way up to the front fuse box that is very odd. Now I am the 2nd owner of my X so i tried contacting the 1st owner to try and figure it out and he himself has no idea regarding the rewiring done in the rear, and he spent all his days over at the dealer instead of indy's so, my question is why would the dealer do this? Anyways, This post is to inform some other people of this same issue and here is some more pics to help: PS: If you are looking for the same indy that did this job on the X, he is located in the Brooklyn, New York area, I did not get my X back but I am awaiting to see how the job is done, once its fixed I will recommend him to people on here. Thus far he seems to be very fair and well. His charge for the entire job was $350 for rewiring it all up to the way its suppose to and replacing the module. Here is some more pictures that I took:

You've got other issues at hand and its not the detail shop.
Your floorboard IMO looks to have water or dirt or both coming from somewhere... Somewhere where a normal detailer would not introduce unless you have some gaping corrosion and a pressure washer blasted it all in. Just some food for thought

I would check the rear for leaks as it is not uncommon and you may be faulting the detail shop erroneously. I'd check the left and right rear corners for signs of moisture as well.

Could also be from rain if your rear drains are clogged...hope you get it all sorted out.

now im starting to get a bit worried, Yes i have had this issue where rain gets into the X and it does happen when it rains alot, the only thing is, I thought it was coming in from the side rubber of the right passenger door due to the fact that water kept coming in from the right floor of the passenger side, and every like 3 or for 4 months i RARELY got water coming in from the button of the sunroof switch. I never did check the drains because I ended up getting rain guards on the X and since then I never had rain in the X ever again? So its odd.... but it wasn't a problem anymore so I just ignored it away....
Where do I start to tell the indy to check the drains of the sunroof?

You should see what pin and what fuse is accessed by that blue wire and check the WDS.

Okay, I just got my X back and the Self_Level Susp. Inactive is indeed gone, im very pleased about it but for some reason I have reason to believe that the height is still off? are the 2001 X5s different height then the 2004s? because there is an 04 where i live and i wanna spot it to see if there is a difference.
It could just be my default size height but i still am feeling a little sketchy about it.
