Exhausts suggestions for a 330xi

For those of you who don't know, I have an '03 330xi.. I'm thinking of getting an exhaust, and I'm just wondering what the best ones are. I'm not looking for any performance gains, I just want it to sound better. I don't want one that's obnoxiously loud, though. I had a Remus on the X5, so I'm considering one for the 330, but I wanted to get everyone's opinions.

Not much choices here for cat back exhaust. UUC TSE3 is nice but requires a mod to make it fit. Mod voids warranty according to Rob at UUC.

If you go just for just muffler then choices are Supersprint, Dinan, Remus, Eisenmann, Rogue and probably a few more.

I've also heard cutting out the second resonator and replacing the muffler with just a generic glass pack section gives a nice sound at a bargain price.

Have you deactivated your muffler flap, the so-called golf-tee mod? Makes it sound a little louder at low RPM.

The 330's have a vacuum activated flap in one of the exhaust tips. When the engine is at low RPM a solenoid opens a valve on the vacuum line which activates a vacuum valve which closes the flap. The purpose is to reduce noise levels at low RPM.

Look at your muffler and you will see the valve on the passenger side tip. Under your bumper you will find a rubber vacuum hose. Bend the hose over to pinch off the vacuum and tie it with a zap strap. That's it. Takes 5 minutes and is completely reversible.
Original mod suggested pulling off the hose and using a golf tee to plug it up but that's lame. What's next, use a 3 iron as a strut brace?

Remus,Activeautowerks and UUC have a refined sound. Activeautowerks sounds like a Ferrari with a growl extremely nice . ( Triflo way too getto for a Bimmer )

I watched it.. I think the Eisenmanns are too loud. I don't want it to sound like some rice rocket.. I just want it to have a bit more of a growl.
