'05 4.4i 5 QUESTIONS

Folks I do have some questions for my "new" E53 '05 4.4i 70k mi.



1. for some reason I have wierd noise when driving above 20 MPH on open driver side window. It is coming from the front end driver side, but can not find from where or what it is coming from... [btw I did search at the archives and nothing]. The noise does not come from the engine pulleys/ belts and so on from the engine bay as it is not there when the engine idle and the SUV is stationary, but it is coming only from TIME TO TIME. It does sound like some dry tree leafs that are mashed or better yet like some cardboard that is touching bicycle spokes when the bike rim spins "prrrrrrrr", I did check behind the wheels, at the engine, under the SAV ....... did insulated many wires and stuff that was rattling and touching, but the noise is still there .... anyone know what might be ?
[I asume it is not the bearings as the noise is not all of the time and above 20 or so mph .....]

2.does anyone know how to DISABLE the GPS screen that come ON every time when the driver door is opened. Is that dealer programming feature - any way to turn it off?

3. on the hatch back - when lifted UP, is there supposed to be 2 or only one black rubber stops located at the left and right side of the LATCH mechanism ?

4. my driver side window works fine up/down, but does rattles badly if lowered to the half when closing the door - does that means it is out of the window guides or something else can be adjusted ?

5. for some reason when checking the engine OIL level on DIFFERENT LEVELED places it does show different levels on the BOTH SIDES of the dip stick - for example one side is at the MINIMUM and on the other side is at the MEDIUM - its like the dip stick is angled in the oil pan 45 deg. or so .... any ideas, is that normal on all X5's V8 engine sticks ? [for reff. Mobil 0W-40 synth.]

.... one week and 170 vewers so far, but not even A single replay on simple question like Q.#3 ........

#3. yes, there is only one bump stop

#4. most likely the clips on ther edges of the regulator are wearing and just about ready to break or they have already broken. time for a new regulator.
