Finally resonator-free!

After having the part sitting for a year or so, I finally had it installed today. I don't hear much of a difference being my x5 is a 3.0, but the throttle response seem to be better or maybe it's just in my head. I have not really got the chance to hear it at WOT 'cause I went through traffic. . I was not able to take pics of it being welded 'cause the mech told me to wait at the waiting room for liability purposes (Meineke). Here are some pics of the work done taken at my driveway (crawling). Now I just need to get tips to make this a better setup, and an intake may be as well on its way

There is a exhaust note change from out side the car too. But when I did mine I noticed a slight increase in throttle response.

Local Meineke guy charged me $100. We've been going to this guy for all my custom exhaust and he does a pretty nice job. I think adding an AFE intake should define the tone a little bit more.. now all I need are tips..

Anybody interested in 2004 4.4i dual tip mufflers? Only 38k miles on them. I am taking my stock mufflers off (from the resonator back) and replacing it. I might even have it available in North Jersey too. PM me.
