Another fan not working/FSR question I need some diagnostic help guys

So I replaced my FSR last week and still no fan. I was driving the other day and the fan started out of the blue. I thought great its fixed and now its off again. So here is what I can find... the rear fan works fine (even when the front fan will not start up). All my displays work fine, I can see the temps, fan level ect. I pulled the FSR out today and kept it plugged in and it was hot as hell! If the FSR had failed I’m guessing it would not get hot like this. Is it suppose to get hot like that if working correctly? The last thing I can think of is my blower motor is going out, but the weird thing is the fan starts and stops. I would think if the he blower motor was going out it just would be out for good.
Man I need some help guys, Thanks
