FIRE EXTINGUISHER mounted !

I mounted a marine (white) fire extinguisher under the front of the passenger seat. While NOT AUTHENTIC BMW it will serve the purpose, (besides you can hardly see it)
With the sport seats, run the seat all the way back, you'll feel a raised area, (on my 06 3.0) you can drill into the sheet metal thru the carpet and just use some fat 1" sheetmetal screws in the metal bracket that comes with the marine extinguisher...
ps, it clears the seat when you run it back forward !

most X's that have caught fire usually start behind the dashboard on the passenger side. Keep that puppy in the cargo area so you might have a chance at grabbing it

why would you want to save the X if its in a fire? i'd say let it burn.

A fire extinguisher gives you just enough time to get the makings of smores from the grocery store. So I say keep the extinguisher and don't forget a couple of coat hangers.

I'm on the team bench that would prefer to see the sumbitch burn...

Dunno... in 47 years of driving all manner of vehicles in various states
of tune/repair, I've never had the need for a fire extinguisher in any
of them. But, glad you finally got yours, Daka.

Agree with what everyone else says, I would let the car burn. The only reason I would ever try to save a car that was on fire it was super rare like a GT3 RS.
