No he's saying there are 2 versions. One for pre-face lift and one for face lift cars. You need the face lift version. See my post above.

I just got off the phone, they list the part number you described, but, they do not fit on the 06 X5 and any variation.

Crap!

What do you mean "any variation." The p/n I gave you for for facelift cars. That means 2004, 2005, 2006. They are all the same. If it fits 2004, it fits 2006.

This is EXACTLY the same crap I had to deal with. I was given 2 or 3 part numbers, then was given the "updated" part numbers. Then I was informed they would not be applicable to the facelifted X?! After I returned my deflector, I basically shelved the idea for awhile. Who knows if they will ever make one for an '04-'06. Just make sure the deflector you are purchasing is guarenteed to fit or you can get your money back if it doesn't.

I just spoke with them, they said they have shipped to owners of 04 and later models, but they do not fit.... That comes from BMW.

They canceled the order saying it would not fit....

I guess I will have to do the clear wrap, although I am not a fan of putting anything on my paint, I think it is the only way to protect it.

Just call up your local dealer, have them order it, when it arrives go and see if it fits.
