X5driver214 is on a distinguished road
Running smooth and fast!!!

I own a 00 4.4 non sport and I baby the car, I drive it very slowly and always put OEM parts and fill chevron 93 with techron in my car. I do get it in high speeds but I do not push it hard to get there. Yesterday my brother borrowed my car to travel from dallas to oklahoma and back bc he wanted buy something big. He actually paid half for my car so I let him take it. He owns an m5 and he drives his very fast all the time. He does his 7 hour trip and comes back. He tells me my car runs very good and its fun. I get in my car the next day and it runs 10x smoother and feels alot faster. I call him and ask him if he did anything to the car he says no but he says he really pushed the car for whole road trip. I feel really stupid for not ever driving my car hard b/c it seems to like it.

I remember my indy telling me that sometimes peoples car runs better b/c they drive the crap out of it but I never really listened. I think its true though.

So if you are like me and baby the x5, one day in a week, take it out for a fast drive. I think it cleans up the fuel injectors and somehow makes it run smoother.
