Shhhhtupid Question about rear license plate carrier
No, not about the bolts or screws M5 -8, in a 12mm seems to be a good size.
When I bought the car I took the carrier from my e46 I was trading in. By Carrier I mean the piece the license plate screws onto, which is screwed onto the car. I have had issues where it seems like the plate is sitting too high up and the top of the frame clips the rear hatch. I had to install it upside down, which seemed to work, but for some reason the carrier warped and looked goofy (I'm guessing because its upside down). so, I finally bought a new carrier, only, its the same part number as every other BMW from that era. So same problem with it sitting too high. Am I missing something? and no, I am not that anal, I just had to get a new license plate the other day, and it was bugging me.
