New tails. Got a question

I got these tails off ebay. Not the LED. Wish I've known before I bought that they had a LED version but o well. Here is how it looks.

I think they look really nice.

But my question is, there is two slots that does not work. 1 slot is on the tail gate. On the OEM, it was not used and blocked off. I put yellow boxes on the slots that doesnt work. Does anyone know how to get them to light up?

Thanks

I don't believe that the tail gate's ever did light up, but the other ones should light up when you push down on your break, Check if the bulbs are working properly. There bulbs right? since its not LED.

Btw are those extra mufflers next to your X?

I checked the bulbs, I tried numerous bulbs on it and it still doesn't work. Eh it's cool. I'll pull up a diagram tomorrow when I get a chance. Thanks

Oh no that's not my muffler. At the same time I was doing my lights, onto the right of the picture is my brothers 03' Sentra SPEC V. We installed a Greddy EVO2 exhaust.

the tailgates have reverse and fog. U.S. x5's dont have rear fogs so were assed out.

Yeah I figure... I think I'm going to rewire and splice the light under the reverse light to my brake lights. That should look alot better.

But JST, did you check out my headlight thread. I'm having a problems getting the AEs to light up. Maybe you can enlighten me with your wisdom if you do know the fix.

Like JST said.... If you want them to light up you have to hot wire them to the rear tail lights.

That is for adding the rear fog to US SPEC to make it works like EURO SPEC.

I see, so the cheapest and easiest way for me to get mine to light up is to hot wire them. and the more expensive way is to purchase that Rear fog part. Do you have a write up for these btw MrBmwx5
