Lets see how many people

Will leave asinine comments? I have owned 2 X5's and I still do not, for the life of me know how these vehicles accept a cloths hanger? I know the thing slides open, but what fits inside that little hole?

Call me a knob, but its an honest question...... I want to know....

I typically just hang my clothes on the grab bar. Just flip it down and hang your garments on it with any standard clothes hanger (I recommend plastic to keep from scratching anything, however). Problem solved

I think you are describing the mounting point for the OEM pet barrier. It is not meant for hanging clothes. I have the OEM pet barrier and have hung heavy dry cleaning from the bar where it goes into the aforementioned hole.

There is a small hook by the grab handles UCrew described. That is where I hang my suit jacket on a nice metal hanger. The hook is small but you can get a few thin hangers on there.

So hard to resist .

Yeah, you are talking about the 2 sets of ceiling mounts for the Load Space Divider.

Yep those are the load barrier points. You'll find two sets of them. The rear most and when the seats are in their upright position and the point just a the rear of front driver/passenger is for extra large loads(dogs).

I use the passenger side grab handle and hang my dry cleaning there. It's quite handy and with the cloths hanging behind me I can still see out the rear passenger window when changing lanes.

You people are too easy. It would have been more fun to call him a "knob".
