4.4 L engine
It not intuitive as to how to apply tension to the belt and also tighten the nuts holding the pulleys. I did it by using a long handle breaker bar and pushing against the bottom of the pulley. It's perhaps not the best way. I'm sure there is a proper method to do this. |

there is a 17mm adjuster nut that is welded onto the swing arm of the adjuster. one of the lock bolts fits inside that adjuster nut. you use a wrench or socket+rachet to turn the adjuster nut all the way and then lock the bolt in the slot first. then lock the bolt inside the welded nut.
