LED License Plate Lights...

Okay so I purchased those LED License Plate Lights off of eBay and of course they advertised it as "Error" free and of course they were not. This error on the cluster has been annoying me for the longest time, how can I keep my LED License Plate Lights and get ride of that "Check Licplate Light" error on the cluster?

01 X5, 4.4i.

Thanks!

I did the same thing and got rid of the error by getting rid of the LED bulbs.

From what I have read here, your only option is to integrate resistors into the LED bulbs. I didn't feel like the juice was worth the squeeze so I ditched the LED bulbs.

Isn't there any bulbs we can purchase that truly come error free?

^Thanks... I may try these since mine have had the error message for a year now.

EDIT+ Just talked to Mike at F1Autohaus and he says he has some error free ones. Just ordered. Will update when they come in.
