Be careful with 'full serve' gas stations...

This is the 3rd time this happened to me! I tell them to fill up Supreme or Premium gas, and they clearly hear me...and then fill up my tank with Regular gas!

I noticed only when I looked at the receipt I was about to sign. I guess you have to look over your shoulder and make sure they hit the right button ...or get out and pump it yourself!

Now I have a full tank of piss that I have to drive around and burn. I suppose the car will drive like crap without any performance for a week??

I hear in the US they also have drive through cash machines... I`m not sure whether I would call stuff like this advanced or not because doesnt it lead to lazyness.. Please dont be offended if youre from the US, this isnt a dig at anybody, just a thought. I suppose if I lived in the US it`d just be normal to me.

yea its mostly self serve here in NYC. But its full service in New Jersey. Sometimes I forget its full service and when I get gas over there, a couple of times I'd get out to fill it up only to be told they fill it up for you.

I grew up in Penna, so I'm used to self-serve. and now that I live in Jersey, I actually miss it! I'm sick of sitting there waiting for the attendant to notice you... looking over my shoulder to see if he's using the right gas... hoping he doesn't dribble gas all down the side of the car... listening for the 'click' to make sure he screws on the gas cap all the way. There have been many times when I just got out and filled 'er up myself anyway!

Did you get a free car wash to go with that full service fill up?
