looking at a stock X5 from the rear...wheels are a bit angled?
Why is that? I had the opportunity to drive behind mine ( 2006 4.4i) and i was sad to see it looked the same as the ones I saw... Can this be remedied? is spacers the answer?

This is negative camber which is normal and good for handling. As I recall from my last alignment spec sheet the negative camber in the rear should be -1.5 to -2.5.
But if you want less camber then have an alignment shop dial that in. In most cases to get less than the -1.5 camber you are going to need kmac bolt set to give you that ability.

This is negative camber and don't worry, it's normal. It's part of the reason your X handles the way it does.......Phil

Although extreme negative camber is usually a result of worn control arms, collapsed bushings, and ball joints in the rear.

This is indeed normal, though your rear tires will wear out quickly on the insides. I had the dealership zero out the camber to minimize this wear, and I am very pleased with the results. There is no dicernible change in handling, though I'm a fairly conservative driver.
