Charlie, hopefully that gap will settle with a little sun and heat. Thanks Tom!
X5meister thanks for the compliment. Weasel, I don't really see anything bad happening with water not being able to trickle off the center and sides or just step on the gas and airdry. Thanks nik

I was thinking of doing something just the opposite. I want to make some air diffusers at the end of the spoiler to break up the negative air (under the spoiler) pressure and allow the air to pass over more fluidly.

I want to do this as every time I wash her, as soon as I drive down the road it seems like dust and dirt collect at the upper edge of the rear glass.

Has anyone else noticed this effect?

You can buy some nice rooftop diffusers from a Mitsubishi dealership. The ones off the evolution is a nice set of six, just paint them or leave them black

Actually have exactly that but decided on the one like yours. It definitely needs to be modified to fit better. The fins are layed out in a tighter arc and also doesn't fit flush.

If anyone's interested in it, just PM me.
