Steering Wheel (Part # Please?!)

Okay, so the situation at hand is that for the past? what 3 months or so I have been feeling my steering wheel get more and more tight to turn. at first I thought maybe its time to change the power steering oil but then i figured its to tight for that to be so I took a look under the hood and found that the wheel... rod? i guess is some how TOUCHING the body of the car.....

I took a picture and im guessing its bent in some way? how does this happen? I have no clue..... no car accident or anything..... very odd huh?

Anyways I took a picture and I was hoping if i could maybe get a part number to replace it. I know the picture is sorta crappy but its from a Palm Pre.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Yep, that would be the one. But have someone turn the wheel back and forth for you to watch it as it getting tight and binding isn't all that uncommon and there is a cheap fix to put off the replacement. If you thoroughly douse the joint with penetrating lube it seems to rid it of all binding for quite a while. I did that to mine about a year ago and it still didn't start binding again yet!
