Mahogany maritime wood trim.

Has anyone seen this new trim?? Came across a couple of small pics of this trim in a catalog at the dealer and was intrigued.

And did you guys know there's also a natural poplar trim? Apparently it's even lighter than the light poplar. I think I have the natural trim and thought all along it was the light poplar. Oh well...

This thread is worthless without some pics.... I'd definitely be interested in the natural poplar if you have more information.

If you wanna see a pic, just stay tuned I know some one here has it although he's not here that often. Very expensive though and is only available as an Individual X5 option not sold in the U.s. if I'm correct. If you're really interested I would suggest you go to Roveractive on Ebay, Fourteeni might be able to help you. Although is probably very pricy $$$$. Imagine the grab handles in the interior over the door @ $250 a piece!!!!
Oh as a matter of fact check this thread out can you see the Maritime????

Hey thanks for that thread Fulanito. Did a search on this topic but found nothing.

I did ask the local dealer (Toronto) and they wanted $2000 (~ $1700US) for the trim. I thought they look amazing. Who knows? I might just take the plunge.

Yep that's the elusive mod guru with the new trim. The man's a true pioneer. (Damn where's the bow smilie?)

Is agood thing neither my wife or I like the wood trims, otherwise I probably would have taken the plunge the minute I saw it. Don't get me wrong it looks beautiful is just not my style!!!!
