Had hood replaced now lever sticks out.

Well I recently had my hood replaced due to hail damage, but noticed that the lever to lift the hood is always sticking out now. Previously as you all know the lever only stuck out when you release the hood.

I don't want to waste my time taking the car back in to have it fixed if it is a simple fix. Can anyone tell what is wrong from these pictures or if they can take pictures of their lever so I can compare and fix it myself?

Thank you.

Hey, that hood latch handle is adjustable just loosen the bolts that holds it in place and move it back, forward or side to side.

Hmmmm. Tried adjusting the hood lach as far back as possible and the handle still comes through the grill. The handle should retract all the way back when the hood in the closed position but it doesn't seem to do this for some reason.

Does anyone have any ideas or have pictures of their hood latch that they can send me so I can compare mine and yours?

It looks like the part sticking out is reversed if that is possible. (Could be me and my looking at the pics.)

It must be the pictures, in person they look right with the exception that the lever doesn't go all the way back. Do you have pictures of yours?
