would you buy an X5 that had been in an accident?

I just bought a 2002 X5 4.4 with 115k. It looked pretty clean and it runs great, so I didnt really care. The guy selling it was the original owner and volunteered and told me that he had a front end accident in 2007 and the repairs for the bodywork was about $4000. The bodywork came out really nice, I probably wouldnt of known it was in an accident if he didnt tell me. I paid $7500 for it as I thought it was a good deal but now I'm having second thoughts
What do you all think?
Thanks

Depends how extensive the damage was, and how competently the repairs were done. $4k is no big deal IMO.

If the paint matches (to your eyes) then there is no issue at all.

I agree with JCL. I had a front end accident about two months ago and had to spend $7000 just to replace and paint the front. It was not a hard hit and no major internal body parts were damage. The cost was alot because my right front headlight, bumper, and hood had to be replace plus most of the plastic air ducts in front. In a way, I am glad it happend because now I have a new front and it was done at a BMW dealer.

Thank you everyone for your advice... I guess it's not so bad that this X5 has had some bodywork, it's just that I've never owned a car thats had any body repair but I figured this was such a good deal that I couldn't let it pass.
Thank you all again I feel much better now about my new purchase
