Gray lines on nav screen: Screen or Nav comp?

So I'm getting these lines that are developing across my nav screen for no apparent reason, and it's getting worse. I noticed it about 5 days ago and just put in an inquiry for a new screen from a place that I had found via these forums. The lines are gray and go away when the screen is off. Is it the screen or the nav computer? If it's the nav, I'm throwing in a carputer and calling it a day.

I am having the same problem. I believe it is the screen. I read something about this in here but, I didn't follow up with it because the screen is not that bad yet. It has a couple of bad dots, not lines. As soon as it get worse i will replace it.
