If you have navigation, you will need to upgrade the radio module in the trunk to a 2003+ unit. If you have in dash CD, you will need to upgrade the radio module in your dash to a 2003+ unit. Cost is around 600 bucks.

The instructions that came with the cable should have told you that the cable would not be compatible with your car (as is) unless you updated the radio, etc. Or you could have read the instructions on the board and discovered the same thing prior to purchasing it.

Maybe if you took 2 milliseconds to do a search you'd find my complete write-up on the aux cables. However, the fact that you don't understand that 10/2002 came after 2001 is what is most troubling.

Hopefully your other 14 posts have an ounce of intelligent information within them, though I won't hold my breath.
