Bye Bye ol' Blue.. Sold the E53

Just sold the E53 this weekend. She was an 03 4.4 with about 89k, very powerful, and very cool looking ride. She was well maintained with some classy extras. I ended up getting $14,500. Did I make out okay?

Anways, got a 2011 xdrive35i premium on order, should see her later this month.

Platinum gray metallic on oyster leather, with only a few added extras. The only mods I plan are some fender flares, tint and my staggered deep dish 20s, which are at the paint shop now being re-finished.

Nice! Did you sell or trade?

I sold it, and it sold fairly quickly for pretty close to what I was asking; trade would have only been $11k. The only issue now, is that I'm out of a car until the end of the month. Pedal biking to work for the month of July isn't too bad though.

I hope you have some strong A/C at work. It's been a sizzler for the last couple days.

Yea it was a real hot week. The AC as the office has been pumping, and I haven't been trying to break any records getting there. I just take my time riding down the beach with my iced coffee, checking out all the pretty girls before work.

Sounds like I need to change my commute route

Good luck with the new ride.
