window safty

hi ar the x5s surposed to have the thing when you get yourhan on top of it it stop and go back down. if so my ones ar not working on any off the windows. any idear why this would happen

how do you know they dont work? are you at the free clinic right now because your hand hurts? Anti-trap only functions with the door closed, and when performing one-touch operation. If you hold the switch like a moron, then there will be no anti-trap.

From the tone of your posting you seem to imply that the safety feature should work when you press down on the window glass, but it in fact works when you press up on the rubber lining. You can test this by sitting inside, close the door, and press auto up, then while the window is going up press on the rubber lining at the top of the window frame (before the glass comes up and crushes your finger!), it should then stop. It’s designed like this so that if something is in the way it will stop when whatever is in the way hits the top of the window frame.




Is it just me or is the advent of cell phone style SMS speak killing the use of the English language...

It's not just you. It is a combination of SMS-speak, lack of punctuation, and poor spelling. To be fair, it can also be impacted by ESL issues. I am not picking on the OP here, it is apparent in many threads.
