Any market for non-tow package bumper parts.

The 04 X5 4.4 went back, I had the tow package installed and have all of the parts to convert it back to non-tow package.
Is there much of a market for the parts?
If so, what are they worth?
TIA

Good question... I've got my non-hitch bumper stored away as well.
(Along with my stock 4.4 sport exhaust, and my stock 'running boards')

I just donated mine to the local metal scrapyard. Didn't even want the whatever cents per pound they offer......Space in NYC is a premum !

I have a set up over the garage as well. I see them on eBay now and then, but they never seem to sell.

I might be interested in seeing what you have. After using my tow point and my tow hook to pull out some bushes and trees, let's just say a replacement might be in order. Things seem to be a little bent down there, and I'd like to see what it would take to replace things. I might, however, end up getting the hitch myself. In that case it wouldn't matter, right? I'd still be interested in knowing what I could do.

Here's what's basically left after doing the hitch install

This article describes basically what is involved in replacing these components - http://www.xoutpost.com/showarticle-91.html

I would probably just be interested in the top most part in that picture, that is the one that contains the tow point attachment right?

I tell you, that would be a tough part to bend. It's held onto the back of the X5 with about 12 good sized bolts spread across the whole member.

it was a pretty big bush, that I was pulling out going down a hill... how stupid I was when I first got my car. Everything else faired fine, except that is, for my tow hook and that part, and the bush. The beast that is the x5 murdered the bush!
