Best aftermarket headunit option??

Ok well im coming back to the E53 club, just about to purchase a 2002 3.0L to replace my E39. The X5 comes with the stock MID and no Navigation or screen which is a bummer. Although i guess it gives me some flexibility into which aftermarket headunit i can purchase.

Which do you guys reccomend? I want something to look stock ( like it was meant to be there ) and if i get this aftermarket HU will i lose all of my MID functions on my High Cluster?

I have heard something about some Dynavin model or something which looks rather good.

Or would i be better off just keeping the stock display and just upgrading speakers and tapping in a subwoofer in the boot?
