WTB: 2006 BMW X5 4.8IS - Sold E55 AMG - Cash Buyer

Hey Guys,

Looking to join the big amazing family and thought I'd go for the big boy 2006 4.8IS mint low miles. Wanted to get the help from the forum members. I found my previous BMW M3 on M3Forum with the help of members and the car turned out to be super reliable. I know you guys are experts and know which cars in the market are good and which ones to walk away from. I'm doing my daily search on Craigslist, Ebay, Autotrader, cars.com. Here are my criterias and please feel free to post links, ebay ads and whatever you feel as though could and should get a second look.

Looking For:
Year: 2005-2006
Make: BMW
Model: X5
Trim: 4.8IS
Miles: 40K or lower
Payment: Just sold my E55 AMG, and money is ready to be transfered. Looking to buy soon hopefully for the right car.

Let me know guys. Currently, this one has gotten my eye. The dealer is a 7min drive from my house.

1. 2006 Used BMW X5 4.8is at EEE OF TYSONS Serving Vienna, VA, IID 5760154

Pros: Love the miles, color is cool, and semi loaded.
Cons: Not too crazy about the price. $2K above Excellent condition. Was hoping to go in at $28K and finish around low $30s. What do you guys think of the car and the price I should go in?

X5 looks nice and I thought the 4.8is came with all the options so I don't understand your comment on semi loaded. It does look like someone painted the steering wheel cover (the piece behind the air bag) because it has a lot of shine.

Guess he refers to the lack of airbags on the rear side doors.

Agree on the steering wheel cover ! They are meant to be a matt colour and a sort of rubbery texture

That one had been sold, the search continues. Did they ever make a white X5 4.8IS? Any preferred color combos? What's hot, what's rare and what's a no no

Pluses: Color, low miles,

Minuses: Not CPO, very high price, at 30,000 miles will likely need new rear tires, no rear seat side door airbags, probably expired manufacturer's warranty (DOP was 8.2006)

Yes it's pretty loaded short of the rear seat side door airbags and the sliding load floor (which it's hard to tell if it indeed doesn't have). They have other 'is models for sale including a nice black sapphire with cream two-tone interior. I'd check that one out as well.
