Door Actuator

Just looking for confirmation of problem/solution.

Using FOB, front driver's door won't lock/unlock. It also won't auto-lock when the car is put into motion.

I can lock/unlock using the key in the door lock.

I'm familiar with taking the door on/off so I'm pretty sure I can replace the actuator myself or I could have the professionals do it.

Am I missing anything?

Looks like the part (5121840253) is $210.

Thanks to the forums for having so much information readily available.

I did try that....just for fun, but then realized that since it didn't auto-lock when I started driving (all other 3 doors did), it wasn't the FOB.

I have an update. It appears that there is some randomness to the it the lock working again. I may have a bad ground as my sub woofer is going in and out so I'm going to take a look at the sub and maybe my lock will start working again.

After a day, I never had a problem with it again. Chalk that one up to the X repairing itself. Although....it wouldn't hurt to reinitialize the FOB like the other commenter said.
