Greetings everyone,

I would like to take this time to thank all members of xoutpost for helping me solve my air conditioning problems. Recently the a/c on my X seemed to be possessed. It will only blow cold air on the driver side and when it wanted to. I took the car to aamco for their "free ac check-up" and it was a total waste of time and moneY. They gave me over 4 wrong diagnosis and even persuaded me to purchase a new auxiliary fan which I probably didn't need. After reading several postings on this site and comparing symptoms on mine with the ones of many members on here, all I needed was a new FSR. So I ended up shelling out $405 dollars for a new fan, $201 for a condenser vacuum and dye/freon charge at aamco and the problem persisted. Spent $80 bucks for a new FSR and literally 20 minutes of my time to replace and problem solved.

Glad to hear you found a fix. I replaced the FSR and recharged the refrigerant this year. ~$45 for the FSR on eBay and later $20 for the refrigerant from my indie including labor
