PDC inop after hitch install

I completed the installation of the OEM hitch kit and now my PDC is inoperative. I checked all the wiring (after taking the bumper off again ) and can't find anything. The PDC beeps for about 3 seconds when put in reverse gear then just flashes. Normal operation is that it flashes when in gear then beeps when close to an object.

Any thoughts on what might be going on here? Thanks!

IIRC the PDC will be disabled when using the hitch plug - no point having it beep letting you know the trailer is close! It should still work if there is nothing plugged into it though.

I assume that you have both the harness and the control module properly connected? If so, the PDC should work as normal when there is nothing plugged into the hitch plug and it should be disabled in the rear when something is plugged in.

Yeah I checked that but I'll double check again. The only thing I did was disconnect the harness to get the bumber off. I didn't touch the control module however I'll check it again.
