which tires? urgent
Hi all.
I know this is not a new kind of thread. but I wish to have most fresh opinions from long term experience with michelin lattitude tour HP and Bridgestone Dueler HP sport. I was supposed to move to Socal this winter, but the plan has been changed so I will move there very soon. and stay there at least 1 year. my old Diamaris is still working but since I have to drive 800 miles for the trip I will change tires. And I am considering lattitude tour HP and Dueler HP sports. Both are available in costco. but you know, price is pretty much different. but I am thinking quality is not so much different, I might not need to pay more money for tires. Actually Dueler is pretty much attractive for it price but I am wondering if it is durable for it threadwear. so Could you please update latest opinions for both? and also welcome recommendations. and one more question, Actually I do not want to waste money for alignment. but my dealer said X drive model should be aligned with hooking up steering sensor to their computer. so the SM said my X5 should be done at dealership. Is it definately true? or Can I use any other well know alignment shop? How do you think of? and Do I need to change pressure monitoring sensors ? let me know your opinions. Thank you so much.
