OEM Roof rack question

Hey guys, I'm looking to pick up a set of used OEM crossbars locally, have searched but didn't find the answer to my question. The seller has a set on an '08 and on his '03 for sale....1) guessing they are different for the e53 and e70? Secondly is there an e53 OEM set without keys/locks on them? He mentioned that this era did not come with keys/locks but I've never seen any non-locking crossbars.

I removed the OEM crossbars from my wifes 2008 E70 when the lease was up and put them right on my 2002 E53. We just picked up a 2011 X5 5.0 M Pkg which I understand require different crossbars. never saw OEM crossbars without key hole.
