Just picked up a ABS Brake light.
Assuming it's just a bad sensor that needs to be dealt with...
Does the car do anything when it detects a bad sensor.
Yesterday night, when it creeped up, light was on and all was good..Intermittent off/ solid on on the way back home...
Today, with the light on, anywhere from 40-70 mph, whenever I lifted off the thottle, unless it's the light in the cluster playing Placebo effect, it would do a very slight noticable downshift I could feel ever so slightly....or is the damm ABS engaging every so minute ?
AFAIK , just short of the ABS light on = bad sensor....there should be no behavioral changes on the car itself.
I'll just wait till Monday so my Indy can plug in the GT1 to tell me which wheel is the offending sensor .
Anyone can confirm if the car is doing something different when it detect a bad speed sensor. I can see how it MAY behave different if it's DSC....but I'm just talking ABS only...
