this warning just came on today, i have searched other forums and they said to check fuse and it looks good. i never pushed the descent button and i was on a steep hill so was curious and thats when the light came on.. i cant raise of lower the car any more, the car is completely level with no sagging on any side......any clues. the funny thing is im bringing it to the dealer on tuesday for a very annoying squeek which i thought was coming from the rear suspension but figured it was just some bushings or something. this sounds expensive. another question is i was going to get the extended warranty but does anyone know if the compressor is covered or whatever it may be?

If you will do a search on this board for "self leveliing suspension" and you will find multiple threads discussing all sorts of causes and fixes. In fact, it may be in the "Top Ten Most Popular Problems" in the X5.

Yes, when mine acted up a couple weeks ago, it was the 30A fuse that had blown. Take a couple minutes, and check them all.
