Dinan strut brace install

I know it's pretty sinple to install the dinan strut brace, but I was wondering what to torque the bolts to. Also anyone have a copy of the instructions or tips for install?

Also, do the strut ends of the bar sit flush with the strut towers? There seems to be a little, pointed plastic tip that makes the strut end sit higher.

Also, was the dinan strut bar come with new nuts for the strut tower screws?

Thanks

Yes, my kit came all new with nuts etc... It sits flush as far as I saw.. I cant remember the torque in the garage somewhere if you cant find it Ill check for you... Only thing is you have to trim the back of the washer fluid... Goodluck

Thanks for the link! That helps out a bunch. Now, I need to get some flange nuts.

I also have aftermarket (arnott) struts and I think they have a longer "guide" on them so I may have to trim it.

Were you able to get the Dinan strut bar installed? What are your impressions?

Had to order flange nuts from Dinan.... they should be here very soon! If it's like my e46, there will be a very noticeable difference!

Any fitment issues?
Hows the quality of the brace?

Might get this since Dinan is pricey. Wish I could find one for my E38 that didn't cost $500.

Even though I did the euro sway bar upgrade front and rear on my 7 (rear was custom mounted w/ custom made brackets) I'd still like to get a strut brace eventually for it. I haven't looked on www.bimmerforums.com in a while, but there are about 3-4 different brands out there and as far as I know only one or two are decent units w/o being in that $500 price range.
