Have a bit of patience.. Most people on these forums are in the US and are asleep at the moment.
I have used REALOEM, but then used those parts numbers at several places, both within Australia and have bought from the US. In Australia, I contacted Daniel at Peninsula BMW (which I think he is also on this site - daniel AT peninsulabm.com, and I have bought from www.bmaparts.com. Searching, you will find a host of other places people recommend. Rob |

Email Daniel at peninsulabmw as stated. he can get the parts in from overseas, original OEM, but cheaper than the Stealer.
However, I basically went direct to US for small parts, got them within a week. |

can anyone tell me how to get the leather seat base off, i want to replace the foam padding.
im reasonably comfortable with getting the seat out of the car, but unsure as to what to expect when dismantling the seat base, i have searched here and google and found help on getting the seat out but not the disassembly pic would be good if available. i was led to believe by my dealer that they would cover it under wty, however they had a change of heart. the problem is that the foam on the outer edge of the drivers seat, sports and powered, is deforming and the internal strengthening / shaping metal rod has broken, i don't want it wrecking the foam anymore and eventually puncturing the leather. i have got onto a guy in the US who can supply the foam base, and i thought i would fit it myself if possible as always any help greatly appreciated Ewen |
