Retrofit analogue TV module?
I've recently purchased a 2004 E53 3.0d, which has nav and PS2. There is no TV module, but the PS2 is hooked up to two headrest screens and i've been told i may be able to hook up an analogue TV module and then be able to watch DVD's from the PS2 on all the screens and sound through the car. I've found where the TV module would go, but i'm unsure RE the wiring? Here is a shady pic of what is there atm... ![]() Is the black connector the right one for the module, or should i be looking for something else? |

that black connector looks like the one for the trailer module. i dont believe any X5 is prewired for Video Module. you must purchase a retrofit cable that plugs into the NAV and extends the wiring to the area pictured above.

Ah, i understand now!
Very many thanks for that, knew it had to be something simple. ![]() It should be plug and play though, yes? |

With analogue TV being switched off in the next few years, you may be better looking for a 2005MY unit as that will be analogue & Freeview.
