squeaky brake pedal

hi guys.

would anyone know how to fix a squeaky brake pedal.

It gets realy anoying after a while.

Yeah, but it involves either changing out the pads or taking the caliper off and applying anti-squeal.

Lubricate it? My 03 squeaked, and it was due to lateral (side) thrust, not the pivot. I could change the noise by pushing the pedal to the left or right as I applied it.

The bushings i ordered weren't to remedy a noise issue, but they are silent and help to eliminate side to side play. Just throwing one solution out there. Some DIY (slightly enlarging the I.D. of the UUC bushings) is required.

Hi guys.

thank you for the replies. yes it is the pedal itself that squeaks.

I will try lubriscating it first.
