Irotors review

Afternoon All,

I am going to change my rotors and pads and came across an ad from IROTORS for rotors and Cermic pads. Has anyone here ever used them or have you heard of anyone who has?

Thanks

I Never heard of them and I would never use them.

Here is a good thread going around right now that will explain why you probably shouldn't go with drilled rotors for your X5.

No-name brake parts from an ebay store seems to me to be pretty high risk for what is a critical safety system. Why compromise the performance that you paid for when you bought the vehicle?

And I love how they advertise a 30 day parts warranty, specifically including coverage for their drilled disks cracking.

But if you want the cheapest parts out there as you are selling the vehicle next week, then these parts are cheap.

I actually put that exact set of rotors on my truck a couple of months ago. Although I upgraded the package to ceramic pads for $10 more. They stop incredible, don't make any noise, and look sick. I get compliments all the time on them. I recommend them, but get ceramic pads rather than the semi-metallics. I always buy my brakes from irotors. They're on your door step in 2 days and are cheap as hell. I'll try and post a pic tommorw

Yikes...if you are looking for ways to make your race car take longer to stop, just push the brake pedal a little softer.

LOL. I was told by one of my race buddies, stop spending money to make the car go faster, hit your marks and learn how to slow the car smoother, then you pick up time. It took a while for that one to sink in...

Cheers,

Mike
