hi all ive downloaded carsoft 6.5 got it all working but all i keep getting is bad commuication im using a toshiba laptop and a obd2 usb cable could someone please help me thanks paul

To use Carsoft 6.5 ,you will need an RS232 Serial port on your laptop or a PCMCIA card with RS232 Inputs.
I could never get USB/RS232 converter cable to work

Here you go.I have used this seller (Mike) for years and he is reliable and honest.He also an Express card for more recent laptops
PCMCIA Serial IO Cards
