just filled up, 3.0d and averaged 9 litres per 100 km

90% peak hour bumper to bumper stop start driving, so i guess i

I am not sure how that translates to MPG, but, I get 20.4 avg over 12K+ miles..... FYI

Yes, the 3.0D will just about run on the smell of an oily rag. I have seen as low as just under 7L/100KM (seen this once in a blue moon but averaging 8-9L/100 is common) on a traffic free highway, relatively flat, and within speed limit for a 500KM ride.

Your foot must be made of lead... I think I can get my 3.0d down to 20... But my long term average is about 28...

My 3.0d (06 plate) can do around 8l/100km on the motorway with light traffic (Mostly on cruise control at around 85mph, but includes some round town driving in traffic)
