trying to remove rear door carrier, I'm stuck, help!
I can't find DIY for replacing rear door carrier so I don't know if I need to remove pin/latching device (3 or 4 screws on side frame of door) or if there is a secret tip to wiggle it out. There is way less space to work in back doors!!! I have tried everything I can come up with in terms of position, but to no avail... Help anybody???

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I guess the answer is yes, you do need to remove the door latch (3x TX30) to be able to get the door carrier out. I guess I was just chicken to remove it earlier. But my frustration got the best of me and my chicken-ness quickly faded away... Victory is mine! But now its to late to get the replacement part, (wasn't 100% sure that door carrier was the issue) will finish job tomorrow. Moderators: Could somebody please add to the informative "How To" PersonaNonGrata wrote on the carrier subject, about the slight difference when performing the DIY on the rear door. (i.e. removing the latch) It would of saved me a few hours of frustration
