OPINIONS ON SATIN/FLAT BLACK PAINT JOB

I just bought a 2002 X5 4.4 as a beater, it's sapphire black paint is in decent shape but has a bunch of scratches all over the body.... I was considering doing a complete repaint and wanted to get everyones thoughts on a satin/flat paint job. If anyone has any pics of an X5 in satin/flat black please post them
